Jenny-Lee learns from the best during Mrs SA empowerment workshop
Jenny-Lee Swanepoel a semi-finalist for Mrs South Africa 2023 recently spent the weekend with her fellow participants learning some valuable skills.
Local beauty and Mrs South Africa 2023 semi-finalist Jenny-Lee Swanepoel was recently one of 820 women who attended the Mrs South Africa empowerment workshop and women’s breakfast at Emperors Palace.
The competition kicked off in style this year on Saturday, March 25 with a one-day workshop that featured a lineup of exceptional guest speakers. The attendees learned about online content creation, social media management, media and public relation, sponsorship acquisition and management, and emotional intelligence.
The Sunday was spent at the annual Women’s Breakfast which offered the opportunity for the women to come together, share their experiences, motivate each other, and learn from the Mrs South Africa board of directors and alumni.
Jenny-Lee said the weekend was an experience of a lifetime.
“Being surrounded by my Mrs SA sisters and queens was empowering and enlightening. The unity among these women gave me hope and so much joy. The opportunity to be part of this event and Mrs SA is an overwhelming honour.”
CEO of Mrs South Africa, Joani Johnson said Mrs South Africa’s commitment to empowering women goes beyond the pageant itself.
