Toasting to good wine and better friends

The increasingly famous Groves and Vineyards Festival returned to Casalinga Restaurant for its 12th year.

Over two days lovers of vino, cheese, olives and artisanal foods were treated to an abundance of taste sensations.

Casalinga hosted the 12th edition of the Groves and Vineyards Festival on May 27 and 28.

Fine wines from 45 wine estates, bubbly, beer and gin were served up in a setting rivalling that of France and Franschhoek.

To amplify the food and drink, guests were treated to the sweet sounds delivered by Mi Casa, Matthew Mole, Goodluck and Louise Carver, to name just a few.
