According to Gresini Racing’s official website, Darryn was unfit to compete in the past MotoGP2 race due to surgery he had to undergo. The surgery was, however, successful, and fans will be excited to hear the Krugersdorp racer will be back in action as soon as April 11.
“I’m super happy things went smoothly. I’m already feeling good!
I have high hopes and I’m feeling positive to have a good weekend of rehab and be ready for Qatar!” he announced on Gresini’s website.
Darryn is currently 15th in the World Championship standings. His next race will take place at the Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar.
