On his official website, he announced it was, unfortunately, an early end to his weekend in Le Mans (May 9–11).

“I started the first practice with a good feeling in the first couple of laps, but unfortunately, arriving in turn nine, I braked too late and, as I had no other way to go, I crashed into another racer. Sorry to him and his team, and sorry to my team too,” he stated.

Unfortunately, I’ve broken my left ulna bone and I’m going to Barcelona to fix it as fast as possible, and I hope to be back soon and healthy again,” he concluded.
