Authorities target illegally occupied properties in Krugersdorp

Government departments and law enforcement agencies have launched a joint operation to inspect and reclaim illegally occupied properties in parts of Krugersdorp.

Representatives from several government departments and law enforcement agencies are conducting inspections of illegally occupied properties in Krugersdorp as part of an operation aimed at reclaiming affected buildings.

The Krugersdorp News is attending the operation, which includes officials from the Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM), the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure, and various law enforcement agencies.

According to MMC for Public Safety Francis Makgatho, the operation is focused on properties in the Kenmare and Lewisham areas.

Makgatho said the objective is to inspect the affected properties and begin the process of reclaiming them.
