HOEDSPRUIT – Local cricket fans can look forward to a new sporting event with the launch of the Hoedspruit Hundred Cricket League, starting on June 20.

The tournament will introduce the fast-paced 100-ball format to the region, offering short, high-intensity matches designed to showcase local talent.

Organisers describe the league as fast, bold and wild, reflecting its emphasis on aggressive batting, tactical bowling and quick decision-making.

Teams from Hoedspruit and surrounding areas are expected to compete, to grow the game locally and create a vibrant community sporting platform.

The format limits each side to 100 deliveries, ensuring rapid, action-packed matches from start to finish.
