Family recieve a modern house

MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (CoGHSTA), Makoma Makhurupetji, officially handed over a house to the Mohlabafase family at Khehlomamotheka village in Khehlakone on Thursday.

The five roomed modern house was built by C.Hoxani Construction in partnership with HGM Steel Boys.

CoGHSTA and Greater Letaba Municipality mobilized private businesses to provide a decent shelter for the poor family. The family is headed by a single mother of four children, Malehu Regina Mohlabafase who is farm worker. She and her children have all been sharing a small two bed-roomed house.

Malehu had no choice but to support, feed, clothe and school her kids with her small earning.

A construction mogul, who did not wish to be identified, bought furniture for all five rooms. The family thanked all those who were involved in building them a house for their generosity.
