New committee elected

Rakwadu Circuit of the Department of Education elected the new schools sports committee at Modjadji College last Wednesday.

Masiza Khumalo was elected the new chairperson, William Moagi (secretary), Johannes Sehlwane (treasurer), Nancy Mashapa (convener of primary schools), Mapula Ramokgola (convener of high schools), Alice Seima (convener of people living with disability), Ntjatji Kobe (Convener for learners with special educational needs), Johannes Mawele (convener of coaches), Khutso Motshwane (convener of technical committee), Lesiba Raseala (convener of leagues and events) and Reginald Rapatsa who was elected as a representative of sports federations.

According to the district sports coordinator, Francis Manyama, the new committee will serve a four year term.
