EXCITEMENT was tangible when RAAM, the newly formed band at High School Merensky launched the first “Wowee-Wednesday” cultural event at Plasieland during break on October 1.
The band, consisting mainly of hostel members, delivered a foursome of songs to the crowds’ delight.
They have been rehearsing the past term, and plan great things for the future.
What is amazing, is that all the members can play at least two instruments, meaning continuous variation on the keyboard, drums and guitars.
Once a month “Wowee-Wednesdays” promises to be a big hit with the Plasies, where everybody can enjoy a zippy talent show presented by talented pupils.
