Goodwill ambassadors recognised

The Coach House Nougat Company gave away hampers to goodwill ambassadors at the Coach House Hotel on Friday.

“We have sent hampers to Johannesburg, Durban and Rustenburg. We see this as a way of giving back to the good hearted people who do well all the time all over South Africa including its local communities” said Joanne Hyland, the factory manager.

The goodwill ambassador ran for four weeks on Facebook where people were asked to nominate people whom they think are making a difference in the community. It ran from from mid February to mid March.

“We decided to give our customers and friends the opportunity nominate individuals who do the work of angels in our wider South Africa and local communities. The reason was two sided: To thank them and reward them with something sweet and to encourage more people to take up the baton of community spirit and goodwill. We are grateful to all those who nominated people, especially to our goodwill ambassadors for being the special people that they are,” said Alison Lyle the Coach House Nougat Company managing director.
