R89 500 for Tzaneen Care Group

Three very special, fit and healthy members of our wonderful community, came up with an idea to raise funds for the Tzaneen Care Group and their new Care Centre.

They thank Shirley Stewart for her initiative and Anel Swart and Paul Zaayman for their willingness to participate in this fundraising effort.

They planned to run the 90th Comrades Marathon and gave of their time to collect sponsors for the race.

This was Shirley and  Anel’s 1st  and Paul’s 3rd Comrades Marathon.

Together they raised in excess of R89 500.

The Tzaneen Care Group  invited Shirley, Anel and Paul to an informal luncheon at the Care Centre and presented them with a small token of appreciation.

The goal of the Tzaneen Care Group, is to provide support to those suffering from Cancer.

‘We have recently been offered a house for use as a Care Centre and the money these beautiful people collected, will be used for the planned renovations.
We cannot thank them enough for this selfless gesture,’ they said.

A small token of appreciation.
