BREAKING NEWS: Man arrested for brutal murder outside Tzaneen

Police in Bolobedu have arrested a 24 year-old man in connection with the brutal killing of a 45 year-old man in Ga-Matshwi village, Mponeng section on Sunday.

According to Provincial Police Communication Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, the suspect stabbed the deceased to death with a sharp instrument and dumped his body in the bushes at the nearby mountains.

Ngoepe said the deceased’s body was found by a passerby on Sunday evening and the police were notified.

The deceased is identified as Mokibelo Pilusa of that village.

“He was found with multiple stab wounds throughout his body and the motive of this killing is still unknown.

The suspect will appear before the Bolobedu Magistrate’s Court soon on a charge of murder,” said Ngoepe.

Police investigations are continuing.
