Following the successful operation conducted on Tuesday, October 24 in Mokgoba Village outside Modjadjiskloof, a 24 year-old man was arrested.

The suspect is presumed to be an associate of the two suspects who were arrested earlier on Tuesday.

During the second arrest, the following items were recovered:

  • Two rifles
  • Two bicycles
  • An Opel Astra

It is envisaged that this might be a syndicate which was terrorising the farming communities in the Tzaneen Cluster, including the Magoebaskloof and George’s Valley areas.

The suspects will appear before the Modjadjiskloof Magistrate Court soon on various charges, including; possession of firearms, ammunition without license, house robbery, housebreaking and theft.

The suspects may be connected to more cases as their profiling is still in process.
