TZANEEN: Two women killed in car crash

Two women were killed when their car veered off the road and rolled several times.

Two women, believed to be in their late 30s, were killed when their car veered off the road and rolled several times along the Bushvalley Road near Tarentaalrand late on Saturday afternoon, paramedics said.

“Shortly before 5pm, paramedics from ER24 and other services arrived on the scene where they found the vehicle several meters into a nearby veld. Sadly, both occupants of the vehicle [had] already succumbed to their injuries,” ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
