Lights out in Ofcolaco
The notoriously dangerous R36 route running past the Ofcolaco fueling station and shopping complex remains in complete darkness .
This following several complaints made to the Maruleng Municipality of lights that have been installed but are still not connected.
The busy R36 road which the community uses to travel to and from Tzaneen has become a hotspot for accidents as the drivers cannot see the stray cattle that have infested the area as that stretch of road is swallowed up by the darkness.

Several attempts have been made to contact both the Maruleng Municipality Manager, Sutane Lethole and the Municipal spokesperson John Seokoma but both attempts drew a blank.
