According to information the video was taken in 2014 and not on location in South Africa.

William Mabasa, Marketing and Communications manager of the Kruger National Park (KNP) told the Letaba Herald that he is aware of the video that’s circulating and can confirm that the incident did not occur inside the KNP.

We are also still awaiting comment from the Phalaborwa SAPS.

According to Willie Smith from Ofcolaco CPF, The Greater Kruger Environmental Protection Agency (GKEPF) also confirmed that the incident did not occur.

It is currently speculated that it could occurred in Zimbabwe, Zambie or Tanzania.
