The SAPS in Letsitele outside Tzaneen have arrested a 36 year old man and his accomplice in connection with the brutal murder of his wife (40) at Babanana village in the Nwamitwa area.

The arrest follows an incident which occurred on Saturday, December 1 at about 22:00.

“The suspect reported that he left his wife alone at their home on Friday. When he returned she was allegedly nowhere to be found,” Col Ngeope said.

The Police, with the Search and Rescue Team and other role players, resumed with the search operation which led to the discovery of the woman’s body inside a deep pit hole in the yard of their home, according to Ngeope.
