Rabbit Pizza officially open shop
At the age of 28 Xitsakiso Baloyi made history when he opened his first pizza shop in Makweng outside Polokwane recently.
Friends, family, community members and business associates came to witnessed the moment.
Baloyi was born and raised in Tzaneen at N’wamitwa village or Malovisi, started the business in April during level 5 lockdown.

“It started as a random recipe try-out in the kitchen in the house I shared with my sister and her husband.
“I posted pictures on social media. A lot of people were interested and asked if I was selling pizzas. From there I started selling pizzas and do deliveries,” he explained.
The high demand in his product led to the opening of the eatery, which currently employs five young people of which two work in deliveries.
It is situated at Shop no 9 in Monyela Complex next to the University of Limpopo Gate 1.
To cater for local customers he also opened another eatery at Nwamitwa Village, which delivers to areas around Tzaneen.
The multi-talented Baloyi is director of the Rabbit Group which has a range of businesses including, Rabbit Events Management, Rabbits Car Rental, Rabbit Clothing and Xitsakisi Trading Enterprise.

His advice to young people is that they must believe in their own dreams and work hard.
“If you don’t have confidence in yourself no one will.
“If you have a business idea, don’t let anyone discourage you, do it and let people see the success.
You are your own limit,” he added. For more information go to their Facebook page Rabbit’s Pizza and on Instagram to Rabbits_pizza
