Xihlovo is in the running for Miss Limpopo Province title

Xihlovo Vukona Mpuru  is a Miss Limpopo Province Semi-finalist.

The 12-year-old beauty princess was selected in the 2024 Junior teen category. Born and bred in Sedan Village, she grew up with the  love for people and sharing the little she has. The Grade 7 learner at Dr Annecke Primary School, has been doing a number of charity drives donating essential items to the underprivilege. As she continues with the spirit of giving, she pleads to the community to assist her to touch many more  lives.

“I need your help in collecting the items or raising the funds to buy. I am asking for donations that will lead me closer to my charity drive being a success and changing someone’s life, as I know that the little that we all have combined can make a difference in someone’s life. She will be working hand in hand with Be-Proud campaign, a registered NPO located and operating in the neighbouring villages of Sedan, Bonn, Mulati and Mafarana, since 2018.

Emelda Tintswalo Shipalana

Tintswalo Shipalana, a journalist for the Letaba Herald, has been in the media industry for over a decade. She started her journey in radio, but ended up in print which is her first love. She joined the Herald newspaper as a cadet in 2016, where she graduated with a journalism qualification from the Caxton Training Academy. She also has a qualification in Feature Writing from the University of Cape Town and a Media Management qualification from Wits University. She is completing her BA Communication Science degree with UNISA. She sleeps well at night knowing she is a voice to the voiceless and her work contributes to promoting local talent, businesses and service delivery. Her love for her community keeps her working hard every day.
