Village boy makes waves in entertainment industry

The love to make other people happy is something that Henny feels will help him into making it to the entertainment industry.

It all started as fun for 28-year-old Henny Mojela from Daniel Rababalela village, when he took a mic at a tavern and started engaging with the crowd. “People were happy with what I did, and I just thought to myself, I might as well continue with it.”

Mojela plays MC and assists DJs when they are playing music. “At first it was just for fun, but after I started to get recognition, I received bookings,” he said. “Seeing the crowd happy at the groove because of what I do makes me want to do more.”

He is also inspired by Tall Arse Tee (the MC from Gomora) and Gagash. “One day I want to be at their level or doing more than them. I have my own style to entertain and engage with a crowd,” he added.

He said that he could work with any DJ even if they had just met at that event. “I have performed at 12 local events. “Celebrities I worked with are Dee Michael, Dr Oumega, WB Minyonyo, Papa Rhulani, Manager Pattern, and Xamacombo,” he concluded. Contact him at 078 745 2646.
