D21 road rehabilitation brings relief

The rehabilitated D21 road in the Maruleng Local Municipality area has brought relief and hope for the people of Ga-Sekororo after commuters had to endure years of a road riddled with potholes.

Today motorists enjoy a smooth ride after the rehabilitation of the road by the Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL) was recently completed. The road connects the Sekororo communities with the R36 to Tzaneen and Hoedspruit.

The link is important as it enables the communities to access the two economic centres and other facilities including emergency services. Albertina Malatji from Belville village sells butternuts and cabbages in the area.

The project was launched in 2022 after the MEC for Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, Nkakareng Rakgoale, ensured the completion of the road through her leadership.
