WATCH: Hyena spotted cooling off in Hoedspruit

Caught on community CCTV just before midnight; looks like a hyena needed a late-night cooldown!

LIMPOPO – Hoedspruit residents were treated to an unusual sight as community CCTV cameras captured a hyena cooling off on a local road just before midnight.

The footage, shared on social media, shows the animal lying in a puddle of water before continuing on its way at the Le Bamba intersection.

Residents are reminded to remain cautious.
