Manani has her eye on Mrs SA again

Tzaneen pageant queen, ready to win Mrs South Africa pageant.

LIMPOPO- Former Mrs Limpopo and Tzaneen beauty, Manani Botes, has once again secured a spot in the Mrs South Africa top 100. The announcement was made on Friday, January 31, at Menlyn Mall in Pretoria. The pageant queen and Jacaranda FM host told the Herald that she re-entered the competition feeling more prepared than in her previous attempt, where she also reached the Top 100.

“I now know and understand my purpose. I advocate for women and children, as they face socio-economic challenges, especially gender-based violence, which has become a pandemic in our nation. I believe that women should not be limited to just being wives; we must live out our purpose. This life is borrowed, and while many focus on leaving a materialistic legacy, I want to make a difference in my community and the nation as a whole,” she said.

Originally from Giyani, Manani grew up in Modjadjiskloof and attended Modubatse Secondary School.

She is married to Charlton Botes and has a son, Nathan. Her career took a turn when she transitioned from a luxury car salesperson to a radio personality after winning a presenter search at Jacaranda FM.
