Giyani author inspires with debut book, ‘The Village Hustler’

Author Amos Sambo releases his debut book, The Village Hustler, inspiring readers with a message of perseverance and purpose.

LIMPOPO – Amos Sambo, a Giyani author and motivational speaker, has realised his goal of publishing a book that encourages and uplifts.

The central theme of his most recent book, The Village Hustler, advocates that anybody can accomplish their goals through hard effort and perseverance, no matter their background.

Sambo said that discipline and love have characterised his writing career. He has finished several novels that have not yet been published.

As a programme director and inspirational speaker, he has gained a reputation for his skill and knowledge.

“The Village Hustler has sold well in numerous regions, including outside of South Africa, and has received positive reviews. I am excited about the book’s popularity and how well its message has resonated with the public, which has increased my confidence,” he added.

Sambo said that since it was his first book, he chose to go through a conventional publisher.

“I wanted everything to be done professionally and perfectly. In the future, I might consider self-publishing, now that I have experience. Right now, I’m finalising The Garden Pharmacy – Part 1, which explores more than 100 healing plants, trees, and herbs. It’s a very interesting and powerful project,” said Sambo.

Sambo advised upcoming authors to start with a clear idea of what they want to write about, organise their writing space, find time to write, and not forget to jot down or record ideas when they come; they are important.

“Be patient with yourself. If the ideas aren’t flowing, don’t force it. And when you’re ready to publish, look for a reliable publishing company. For your first book, I’d advise against self-publishing until you learn the ropes. Writing is a beautiful journey,” concluded Sambo.
