Bring it on, Hoedspruit!

Hoedspruit turns a spontaneous roadside dance into a full-on CCTV Dance-Off Challenge, inviting residents to show off their moves at Dunlop Zone.

HOEDSPRUIT – What started as a spontaneous roadside boogie has turned into Hoedspruit’s very own dance-off challenge, and the whole town is invited to join in!

It all began earlier this week when a couple parked their car off the road, stepped out under the lights, and started dancing their hearts out. Captured by the Farm Watch CCTV cameras, their moves brought smiles to everyone watching.

The video quickly made the rounds, and the CCTV camera team decided to up the ante: “We challenge all Hoedspruit residents to show off their best dance moves in front of one of the CCTV Cameras. Preferably the cameras at Dunlop Zone,” they announced.

The rules are simple:

  1. Park safely off the road in the lit-up area.
  2. No alcohol visible.
  3. Stay off the road for safety.
  4. Keep it family-friendly so the videos can be shared.

And Hoedspruit delivered!

On Thursday night, the ladies from the retirement home Gracious Living and the Rotary Club brought the house down with their dance routine, wheelchair and all!

Their message to the rest of the town? Beat this if you can!

The challenge is still on, and the question remains: Who’s next to light up the Dunlop Zone cameras with their best moves?

Only in Hoedspruit could a CCTV camera spark this much fun.
