SAPS programme crowns Limpopo junior project manager

A Frans du Toit learner has been named junior project manager of Limpopo, leading school crime prevention initiatives.

PHALABORWA – Frans du Toit High School is celebrating the achievement of one of its learners, Lethaba Mokgalaka, who has been crowned junior project manager of Limpopo.

Mokgalaka’s journey began in February when the Phalaborwa SAPS successfully hosted the junior commissioner’s competition at the Phalaborwa Detective Hall.

Learners from several schools within the Phalaborwa policing area, including Frans du Toit High School, All Saints, and Kingfisher Private School, took part in the event, accompanied by their teachers.

Strong performance at district level

Participants were each given a topic to present before an independent panel of judges, and Mokgalaka impressed with a confident and well-prepared presentation.

He advanced to the district level, where he was named junior district commissioner.

Provincial success crowns achievement

Mokgalaka then represented the district at the provincial competition, where he achieved an outstanding result by being crowned junior project manager of the province.

In this role, Lethaba will lead programmes aimed at combating crime in schools across the province.

School praises outstanding learner

“Congratulations, Lethaba! Your hard work and dedication are truly inspiring,” the school said.
