Greater Letaba Municipality Mayor Dagma Mamanyoha has resigned as mayor and councillor with immediate effect, thanking residents for their support.
LIMPOPO – Greater Letaba Municipality Mayor Dagma Mamanyoha has resigned from his position as mayor and councillor with immediate effect.
The municipality announced Mamanyoha’s resignation in a public notice issued on Friday, September 11.
“I would not have walked this journey without your support”
In his resignation, Mamanyoha expressed his gratitude to the council, administration, employees, traditional leaders and other stakeholders for their support and cooperation during his tenure.
He also thanked residents of Greater Letaba for the trust and support they showed him while he served in office.
“I want to take this opportunity to honour the residents of Greater Letaba Municipality for the warmth, the love and the trust given to me during my time as mayor.
“I would not have walked this journey without your support and encouragement,” said Mamanyoha.
No reason given for resignation
The municipality acknowledged Mamanyoha’s contribution during his tenure and wished him well in his future endeavours.
