TZANEEN: Cycling 427km from Tshwane to Tzaneen for charity

A local cyclist will be cycling for 427km from Pretoria to Tzaneen all in the name of charity.

Ntwanano Ngobeni from Joppie Village in the N’wamitwa area outside Tzaneen, says he cannot sit and watch while others suffer from poverty, but he will do his fair share to make a difference.

As a result, he has established an initiative titled ‘Ahi akaneni Campaign’ (Lets build each other).

Through the project, he is hoping to raise funds for poverty striken families in the N’wamitwa area.

“We plan to buy groceries, school uniform and shoes, two bicycles and sanitary pads from the project,” explained Ngobeni.

He calls on anyone, including businesses, to contribute towards the project monetarily or buying the required items.

Ngobeni and his friends will be cycling for about four days from April 23 to 26.

For more information on donations contact Ntwanano Ngobeni on 071 903 2022.
