Annual classic coming soon to Tzaneen

The Letaba Bassmasters will be hosting a “Dash for Cash” fishing Bonanza in place of the annual Bass Classic at the Tzaneen Dam on Saturday, 15 June.

The field will be limited to a maximum of 50 boats on the day and fishing will be from 07:00 to 16:00.

It will be a one day event due to the declining water level which has just getten worse over the past three years. No boats will be allowed on the water after Sunday, 9 June from 16:00 onwards.

The first prize value is R7 000 for the heaviest bag. Second prize is R5 000, third position will receive R3 000 and lots of other prizes can be won.

Entry fee is R1 000 per boat and a maximum of two anglers per boat are allowed. For more information contact Vanmelle Nel on 082-808-3200 or Wayne Kurten on 083- 320-9272.
