Dodging balls in aid of rescuing pangolins

A new dodgeball champion was crowned on Saturday, May 27 at the Scales Sports Arena in Hoedspruit.

The Killers are the new champions after defeating the Seagulls, making the Seagulls the runner-up with Campfire Academy in third place after they defeated Stop it Now during the playoff.

“Our annual dodgeball tournament was another raging success this past weekend! Among our annual regulars, Campfire Academy, Seagulls, and Stop it Now, we had a few new faces join in the dodgeball challenge,” Amy Clark of the Scales Pangolin Rescue Fund said.

“All our newcomers played extremely well, and we were super happy to see so many new faces. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us for the evening, our volunteers for helping with the running of the event, and last but not least, our participants,” she said. The event raised R3 240 for Scales.
