Drakies sports day a success

Drakensig Primary School presented a successful mini sports day on Saturday, May 27.

The school was bustling with mini-netball and bulletjie rugby players as well as parents and supporters. Twelve schools from the nearby community participated in the event.

The Drakies congratulated all participants for doing their best. The school also thanked parents, supporters, coaches, and teachers for contributing to the success of the day.

“We would like to say a special word of thanks to all our sponsors for their hard work, time, and contribution,” said Thea Lombard, organiser and teacher at Drakensig.

“We could not have done it without them,” she said. She was assisted by fellow organiser, JP van den Bergh.
