Hoedies enjoy 2024 first parkrun

Hoedspruit residents started the year on an “active” high note with 89 participants in its first parkrun of 2024.

Riley Timko charged ahead with a personal best time of 21:41. The first lady home was Gillian Forster in 27:25. The organisers congratulated runners Ewout Blom, James Kruger, Martijn Roelink, Jan-Hendrik Hanekom, Daaf Kooman, Louis Fourie, Tamaryn Waghorn, Janneke Kooman, Annemarie Blom, Sabrina Krattinger and Rob Phillips, all with personal best times.

They thanked Protrack and Thirsty Giraffe for the venue sponsorship, Discovery Vitality for supporting parkrun SA and allowing participants to earn Vitality points by participating in parkruns. The volunteer team for the day was led by Kelly Conradie and the photographer was Karen Randall.
