Schoeman rises above the rest at Phalaborwa Open

Changing weather conditions ensured an exciting weekend of competition on one of the region’s most demanding courses.

PHALABORWA – The Phalaborwa Golf Open proved to be a resounding success, with the weekend firmly belonging to Hardus Schoeman.

Players were tested by tough conditions on Saturday, June 13, as strong winds made scoring difficult on the challenging Ba-Phalaborwa Golf Course. Conditions improved dramatically on Sunday, allowing for excellent scoring across the field.

Schoeman produced an outstanding performance to claim the overall gross title and win the A-division with a total score of 149.
