Merensky tennis tours to Sun City

MERENSKY’S very promising u/15 boys participated in the Wilson Shield Weekender Tournament for High Schools. This tournament was held at Sun City from 26-29 September.

Except for tennis against very strong teams from Ermelo, Volkskool Heidelberg, Middelburg and Witbank, these five boys had the time of their lives swimming at the Valley of Waves and also taking on the Temple of Courage.

Stefan Pretorius managed to win all his matches except against Ermelo. He was definitely the star of the Plasie team at this tournament.

All the Plasie tennis players will start preparing for next year’s tournaments. It is believed that there will be very strong boys and girls teams working hard and practicing full out with the new professional coach joining the Blue team from January 2015.
