Braai day!

The National Braai Day initiative aims to position National Heritage Day as South Africa’s annual day of celebration.

All South Africans unite around fires, share our heritage and wave our flag on 24 September every year.

National Heritage Day is a public holiday were our government set this day aside for all South Africans to celebrate our rich heritage. Across race, language, region and religion, we all share one common heritage.

It is called many things: Shisanyama, Braai and Ukosa to name a few.

Although the ingredients may differ, the one thing that never changes is that when we have something to celebrate we light fires, and prepare a great feast.

To make your Braai Day more meaty, sizzling and crackling,  we want you to post a photo of you, your friends or any wacky-crazy moment around the fire whilst celebrating Braai day

And you can win big.

You stand a chance of winning a R1 000 meat month pack voucher from Sugar Hill Mini Market.

Take full advantage of this great heritage photo competition challenge.

Kom aan, neem daai foto!

Take a selfie boet!

Post your photos today on the Letaba Herald Facebook Page or email them to [email protected].
