New movie coming up

Two local young filmmakers who are striving to break new grounds in the film industry, are shooting their first movie.

Nhlanhla Mongwe and Rusnath Malangane are the brains behind the film ‘Reflections’.

The movie is about an innocent girl from a poor family who gets into trouble after befriending the wrong crowd.

After being arrested she seeks ways to turn her life around.

Last year they started filming the first part of the movie.

“We are in the process of doing the second last shoot that will complete the movie.

“We got held back since we needed to raise money for accommodation, food and transport for the crew,” explained Malangane.

Despite the setback the duo are determined to see the movie finished and will do everything possible to see it coming into fruition.
