Homecoming music event promises an explosion of fun

Music lovers from Tzaneen and surrounding provinces will be flocking to Nkowankowa Stadium for the Assupol Homecoming event on Sunday, December 18.

The event which is organised by Chris Mkhari Productions promises a summer musical atmosphere like never seen in the Tzaneen area. Artists performing on the day include some of South Africa’s legendary Disc jockeys such as DJ Ganyani, DJ Christos, DJ Vinny Da Vinci, Rulf Gum, DJ Malwela and Shi kargo, to name just a few.

It will be a family affair occasion, as it will also be focusing on empowering small local businesses vendors in a form of exhibitions. Fashion designers and cooks will be showcasing their talents during the event which will start from 10:00 to 22:00. Admission to the venue starts from R130 for general tickets, R400 for VIP and R600 for VVIP. The VVIP marquee will be hosted by Eric Macheru from Skeem Saam.

The event will be hosted by comedian Chavi CMC and social media influencer, Lucy wa Mulobedumutsonga. It will be a sitting environment where benches and tables will be available at the pitch. Emelda Tintswalo Shipalana
