Naledi and Rea represents Limpopo in Miss SA Top 30

Limpopo has two beauties in the Miss South Africa Top 30.

Naledi Mara (23) from Seshego outside Polokwane and Oreabetse “Rea” Molefe (23) from Northam will both represent the province. The pair are hoping to follow in the footsteps of reigning Miss SA, Ndavi Nokeri and keep the crown in the province. Naledi holds a BA degree in criminology and psychology from the University of Limpopo.

She strongly believes in the power of practising true citizenship in the ever-evolving South Africa
and aims to model this concept through the implementation of affirmative actions towards young women affected by high unemployment rates and lack of job creation. Oreabetse is an international
relations student at the University of South Africa.

In 2022 she completed a climate change and health certificate at Yale University. Rea is an environmentalist and believes that all people can make a positive impact on the environment, no matter how small their actions may seem. If she could watch one movie for the rest of her life, it would be The Lion King.

This year the pageant made history when it changed its rule that married and women with children are allowed to enter the pageant. Jordan van der Vyver and Nicole Eksteen are the first married women to make it to the Top 30 and Rozelle Bester, will go in history as the first mom to make it this far.
