Man threatens girlfriend, steals car
A fight between a couple on Friday morning turned ugly when a man threatened his girlfriend with a knife, took her cellphone and drove off with her vehicle.
The man has been identified as Hlubukani Makobela from Chapmanspeak Street in Aerorand.
He was arrested just hours later about 10km from Middelburg on the old Witbank road and the vehicle was recovered.
According to the Middelburg SAPS, the man was charged and appeared before the Middelburg Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
The case was postponed to a later date.
