Getting away with murder…

Groblersdal police is on the hunt for a murder suspect who fled after he was discharged from hospital.

The suspect was treated at Groblersdal Hospital for a gunshot wound sustained in the attack on Mr Henning Joubert (53), on the farm of his parents in-law on April 1.

The suspect was later transferred to another hospital for a possible operation, but the hospital released him.

He has since disappeared and has failed to appear in court last Thursday on a charge of murder.

Police arrested the suspect on the murder scene, after Mr Joubert succeeded in wounding the man, who had stabbed him multiple times with a knife.

Mr Joubert died in the arms of his wife, Marlene, who witnessed her husband’s murder.

• Similarly, there will be no justice for slain Pierre de Necker who was killed by a vigilante mob in Belfast on July 8.

Four suspects were arrested and questioned in connection with the beating of Mr De Necker, for his apparent involvement in a car theft.

Mr De Necker was beaten so badly, that his brain was visible through his fractured skull.

The state prosecutor however decided not to charge the suspects, due to a lack of evidence.
