Breaking News: Two escape custody after hefty sentence

Two suspects escaped whilst in the process of being transferred from holding cells at the Middelburg Magistrate’s Court to the police cells today.

Linda Michael Cele and Sibusiso Nicholas Ngcane both received 20 years behind bars for a series of violent crimes including armed robbery committed in 2013.

After the sentence the men were supposed to be transferred to Nelspruit where they were to appear with four other suspects on charges of armed robbery and murder in connection with a robbery at Disco Liquor Distributors in December 2013.

According to a reliable source, the men managed to escape by running away and jumping on a car and climbing a brick wall whilst they were being loaded into the back of a truck that were to transport them back to their cells.

At the time of their escape, one of the men was wearing a brown jersey and the other a blue top and blue jeans.
