VIDEO: Jugomaro goes viral
During the past week, the whole world again took note of Panjo, South Africa’s most famous tiger, after a video of him playing with a dog, went viral.
The video was added by Panjo’s handler Justin Fernandes, on Jugomaro’s Facebook page.
Panjo shot to fame after he went missing in 2010.
The video was made when Panjo was only one year old, and playing with one of the Fernandes’ family dogs, Sky.
The video received more than 190 000 shares, helping it go viral.
After the video went viral Justin’s Facebook was flooded with friend requests from all over the world.
He told the Daller that he received messages and friend requests from countries such as England, Australia, Italy and Mexico.
When Justin was asked about the two stars in the video, Panjo and Sky, he said that it was unfortunate that Sky had passed from a snakebite.
Panjo is still going strong and he’s five years old this year.
Unfortunately no one can send Justin a friend request on Facebook anymore, since he’s reached the limit.
But, all are welcome to go and like Jugomaro’s Facebook page to see the famous video and what the tigers and lions are up to.
People can also subscribe to Jugomaro Predator Park’s Youtube channel for regular updates.
Anyone or any business can be part of Jugomaro’s worldwide acclaim, with a new volunteer programme which was started.
To be part of the programme, people have to donate 10% to the building of the animals’ enclosures where individuals and company names will be advertised.
Jugomaro also welcomes meat and cash donations.
