Zodwa Mthimunye and her boyfriend Romeo John Mokoena, both burnt to death when the log cabin they were staying in mysteriously caught on fire.

The entire cabin was burnt to the ground, leaving no clues for the Middelburg Fire and Rescue Services, to determine the cause of the blaze.

Loskop Dam management confirmed that a specialized SAPS forensic team would therefore lead the investigation.

The investigation will involve a lot of laboratory work, and Captain Khanyisile Zwane says that the report may take weeks to compile.
