Competition: Win tickets to McLaren Circus
The McLaren Circus is back in town and will perform opposite the Civic Centre on the municipal grounds with five shows from 24 to 28 August.
Be amazed with a mixed caged act featuring Bengal Tigers, a Rare White Bengal Tiger, African Lionesses and Rare White Lion’s presented by South Africa’s very own David McLaren.
Other animal acts include Perky Poodles, Arabian Camels, Miniature Horses, Ponies, Friesian Horses and Burmese Pythons.
Highlights of South Africa’s biggest circus include Miss Cassandra Stone on the Revolving Trapeze, from Peru amazing Chair Balancing by Gilberto, Whirlwind fast acrobatics by the Tanzanian Boys, Flexibility and Contortion by the lovely Miss Charne, Impressive Mouth Balancing by Circus Legend Mademoiselle Francisca, Direct from Argentina on the doing Quick Change Magic Eizekel and Cristina, The death defying Double Globe of Death (2 bikes inside the globe missing each other by inches) by the Multi Award Winning, World Renowned Varanne Globe Riders from South America and Fire & Limbo Acts. Resident Clowns little Alick & Prakito (From Brazil) will have you rolling down the aisles with laughter and impress you with hilarious clowning skills.
The McLaren Circus promises a new look in a brand new Italian manufactured 38 x 38m Big Top Tent, also featuring new seating imported from Italy.
