Breaking News – Help search for missing farmer

Family and friends are sick with worry after Jan Bette, who lives on a farm just outside Dullstroom, went missing on Tuesday evening.

According to Jean Senekal, his son-in-law, Mr Bette was last seen on Tuesday evening when he left his house, where he lives with his wife Hannelie, between 17:00 and 18:00.

It is unclear where he went, but it is suspected that he went into town to buy something. He was last seen driving a white Ford Bantam bakkie with the registration number CVX 235 MP.

Mr Bette has a chronic heart condition for which he needs regular medication.

None of his personal belongings at home is missing.

Anyone with information is requested to phone Mr Senekal on 082 469 4930.
