Dineo Makua (17) and Renilwe Moyo (17), both from Mhluzi, died on the spot when the car they were travelling in, a white Polo, collided with another vehicle alleged to have been speeding.
The white Polo was carrying five passengers at the time and crashed into a house. A third occupant of the vehicle, Dimpho Nkadimeng, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.

They were always together and inseparable. Renilwe travelled to Benoni to support Dimpho at a matric farewell function which took place on Friday night.
“They were three best friends and very excited about supporting each other at the matric farewell function. They had beautiful personalities,” said Nhlapo.
