Man killed in Extension 24 accident
One person died last week when a white taxi and a Isuzu bakkie collided on the N11 Hendrina road on Saturday just before midnight.
The driver of the bakkie was seriously injured and the passenger died on impact.
The collision occurred at the intersection close to Extension 24. It is alleged that one of the drivers skipped a red robot.
According to the Middelburg SAPS, police investigating a “Hit and Run” incident as the driver of the taxi fled the scene before police arrived.
The deceased was not yet identified by members of his family at the time of going to print.
