The organisers of the event say that the motivation behind the event is to provide a platform for local chefs to showcase their cuisine.

The event promises to be a get together of good food, good music and good friends.

The ESC will take place on 24 June from 10:00 until 20:00 and boasts an impressive DJ lineup including Man Deep, Just Jay SA (DJ Mlungu), Ray Squared, Gavalava and The Refreshment Hour.

General admission will cost you R20 with VIP access selling at R100 per person. The cookout will take place in Mabuza Street, Mhluzi, in O.R. Tambo Park.
