The daughter of a local Eastdene businessman was shot and wounded during a housebreaking earlier today.

The girl was rushed to hospital by her father following the invasion during which she and three others were held at gunpoint inside the Eastdene home.
Four robbers entered the house around 11:00.
They fled the scene after wounding the lady in her 20’s.

A notice has been sent out on media platforms with surveillance footage of the alleged suspects, asking anyone with information that could help lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the Middelburg SAPS or Mr Aroon Bhayat at 072 280 3121.
