Four young lives lost after horror crash in Middelburg
A horror crash claimed the lives of four young people on Dr Mandela drive.
According to Sgt. Thabitha Leshilo, Mhluzi police spokesperson, the accident occurred on Friday afternoon at around 15:00.
The driver of the BMW allegedly lost control of and the car slid sideways into an oncoming Toyota pickup.
The BMW allegedly carried six people, who were scholars on their way to a dance. They were on their way from Mhluzi to Aerorand.
Four people were killed and the remaining occupants of the BMW were taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A case of culpable homicide has been opened.
Sgt. Leshilo said that police are still investigating the matter.
